I wrote this for my prettiest friend while i'm trying not to prove that I care.
I was trying not to make all my moves in one motion and scare her away.
She can't see she's making me crazy now and I don't believe she knows she's amazing how; She has me holding my breathe, so I'd never guess that I'm a none such unsuitable, suited for her .

What a way to end this week with a sweet qualification to the SEMIs in the weekend.
Well, you should know what i mean.Paduka got thru to the Semi of Piala KGMS!!!
Congratulation guys, you should know that all of us did well and we have just create a history and should be Proud of it.

Though this is one thing i didn't see coming; Not that i'm writing off our chances,
But i'd rather be humble and achieve most things without being overconfident.
A great start for all of us and from my part, Let us be prepared for the next stage.

I think the judges have a hard time choosing the teams to qualify for the next stage and i wouldn't want to see us as one of the scrappy teams that went thru. Because in my opinion, there is still a lot of catch up to do for us in terms of voicing and our confidence in front of other teams. Honestly, i see most of us and including myself to get intimidated by the other teams. It creates a hostile feeling in our heads. But Its an achievement for us to bounce back from such headaches judging on our actual perfomance.

Hmm... And Last but not Least, I'd like to end this post with a dedication to my great Instructor, Herry. You pronouce it as Her-ry not Hairy okay...
Thank you very much for everything you have gave us.
For what has happened let it be a lesson for everyone,

Well, I've made up my mind to take on VIDEO section as my main expertise for now.

First try in setting up the mixer in the factory.

On this date, I initiate in Setting up the video section.
There's the switcher, LCD monitors, DVD and projector.
Setting up one thing, learning in depth is another thing.

The song from the script is currently stuck in my head. That song is 'The Man who Can't be Moved'. Well, that thanks to the mixer guys who were playing that song over & over & over again for the demo, NoN-StoP. Blasting the song from speaker and sub woofer that make the place like having earthquake.
So it caught me with this song in my brain. Initially i didn't get the attention about the song but now, i think it has a special meaning in it.

DAY 7: Did some Maintenance again. This time a little more specific to take note of about the power amp. There is 3 types: a single-phase, 2-phase & 3-phase. But mainly the single and the 3 phase is what we have to face everyday.

So single phase is the normal power plug we usual see. The one with 3 pins.

Where as three phase has 5 pins and is much more dangerous.

DAY 8: Recognising the length of the wires.

5m, 10m, 20m...

DAY 9: Recognising the types of wires.

Audio: XLR, TRS, Speak-on & Snake
Video: XLR, DVI, VGA... etc
Lighting: DMX (5-pins)

DAY 10: Cabling

Wired up the power amp.

DAY 11: Setup for Demo.

DAY 12: ON LEAVE... (CCA-MCC)

Orite... So AGM is over now. Sooo... am i suppose to slack & back normal live with attachments???

Nahhh. No, not really. Next is Comp and i'm pumped up to go all out for this.

DAY 5: Stayed in factory again. Help them sort out the hundreds of wires accordingly. Tiresome for a first timer like me because you have to count the wires and measure them. The idea was important for event preparation, especially preparing the list of items needed for an upcoming event, so you won't have a hard time trying to sort out the right type of wires to use.

DAY 6: Work for 3 hours on a saturday. Mainly to move around some equipment to ship it out to KL for some show. Besides that, clear the rubbish and whatever-not from the place.

Today, i took some time to visit the people at bedok. My sister that is of course. Initially i really wanted to play with the one and only nephew, but he titon(tido) already when i reached. So... catch up with my sis and brother-in-law. Am still surprise now, cos i didn't realize that yesterday was my brother-in-law bday until i got back home. Oh Well, i finally understand my initiation for the visit.
Alhamdulillah...

DAY 3

Somehow, i'm glad that i stayed in the factory that day.
Weird, cos i hate it at first. But aniwaes, the whole day was spent with gaining knowledge about Moving LIGHTS. A good thing perhaps. We did some maintenaince and testing, and it looks Cool to me. Was taught how to test the lights and i accomplished to do it on my own. Thanks a lot SIMPSON for dissecting the whole moving light parts though you have a hard time working and explaining them. I think you deserve to be called Dr Simp. Cos You're one genius guy.

DAY 4

Spent the day at the same place cos no event going on daa...
Boring :(
On another note, met the supervisor for the first time. Name Ahmad.
Very easy going i think.

Still, I don't see much pressure working with them or maybe because this is just the first week. And then after that sure kena tekan one. But whatever it is i hope to gain as much knowledge so that i'm able to help them and myself.

Well, Same thing today, maintenaince again.

Day 1:

ORIENTATION: Learn to Coil wire
STAY IN FACTORY: Walk around and get familiarize with the place and the poop smell.
DO HOUSEKEEPING: Clean Cats Poop!

Day 2:

Thank God I didn't stay in the Factory the whole day. Morning report, recall the smell, this time stronger.

Do Prep work for Event: Gather Equipment
Take Transport
Set-up Event: Improve in recognising the different power plug; 13, 16, 32.

Walk around Sultan Rd like Lost like dat.
